After discussions, the customer ordered a shallow pond diffused aerator system with 2 aerators and installation. The pond has an island in the centre so 2 diffusers allowed even aeration coverage. This model is one of the most efficient models available in today’s market. The efficiency of this pump makes the aerator capable of maintaining water quality in small ponds of any size up to 1.8 acres.

The Heathland OxiAir shallow® diffused pond aerator from Heathland Group was designed to be one of the more robust, highly efficient pond aerators, producing large volumes of air. The Heathland OxiAir shallow® diffused pond aerator uses a super silent compressor that pumps air up through the diffuser membranes. These are located on the pond bed and this allows air to break through the thermocline and reduces the risks of stratification in the water column. It also increases the dissolved oxygen levels of the pond. Each of the diffusers circulates an approximate volume of 11,065 litres of water per minute at a depth of 2m.

I have an OxiAir Shallow 900 pump with 5 diffuser plates and I love it. It's almost silent, it fizzes oxygen into my lake in a subtle but visible way and Heathland have been super helpful every time I have had a question.
