Very high flow rates provide large amounts of water movement and circulation while pumping 90,000 litres per hour from the small 0.5HP motor. All of the Evolution series of floating pond fountains are equipped with a very large grill designed to provide reduced suction around the screen which will result in fewer blockages caused by leaves and other debris from the pond bed. I have an OxiAir Shallow 900 pump with 5 diffuser plates and I love it. It's almost silent, it fizzes oxygen into my lake in a subtle but visible way and Heathland have been super helpful every time I have had a question.
