Southview Lodges had an OxiAir HD 6 diffused aerator system installed spanning across the three fishing lakes on their site. Our team worked with them to design a bespoke system to ensure they had an efficient aeration system that could handle the three fishing lakes.
Heathland Group’s OxiAir HD diffused lake aerator is designed and developed with depth in mind. These diffused lake aerators can aerate your lake in depths up to 10m+. The super silent bankside compressor pumps air through the diffuser membranes situated on the lake bed. This air then travels up through the water column and breaks through the thermocline, reducing the effects of thermal stratification. Diffused aeration mixes the water column efficiently and increases the dissolved oxygen levels within your lake. At a depth of 2m, each diffuser circulates an approximate volume of 11,065 litres of water per minute.

The OxiAir HD 6 diffused aeration system was installed in Southview Lodge’s three fishing lakes, the complete system was designed and placed for maximum aeration efficiency. The Underground Pipe was moled in to ensure minimal ground disturbance. On average at 1.0 Bar this system will produce an airflow of 14 M3/h.
When aerating a fishing lake there are many factors that need to be taken into consideration to ensure it is aerated correctly, these include, depth, the overall shape of the lake, stock density and the oxygen transfer rate of the chosen aeration system.
Our design team will consider all of these factors on all of our projects to ensure an efficient and reliable aeration system is supplied for every individual application.
