Ces nutriments libres peuvent devenir la base de la croissance de nouvelles algues, souvent même plus rapidement qu'auparavant. Il est donc impératif de lier ces nutriments libres après le traitement aux algues. La technologie OASE Water offre certains des meilleurs liants nutritifs au monde. Les nutriments sont liés de telle sorte qu'ils ne peuvent pas être utilisés par les algues comme source de nourriture. Ils peuvent servir de source de nourriture pour les plantes aquatiques souhaitées.
L'abondance de nutriments est l'un des principaux problèmes dans les étangs et les lacs, car des niveaux élevés de phosphate entraînent généralement une croissance excessive d'algues.
SeDoX transforme les phosphates, le nutriment le plus important pour les algues présentes dans l'eau, en apatite minérale insoluble. L'apatite qui se forme n'est pas nocive pour les poissons ni pour les autres organismes vivants. Il est absorbé en tant que nutriment par les racines des plantes aquatiques. Les algues ne peuvent pas utiliser l'apatite pour se nourrir.
Les algues sont privées du phosphate nutritif. De cette manière, la croissance excessive des algues est empêchée. SeDoX est efficace jusqu'à six semaines, selon les niveaux de phosphate. Pendant ce temps, il réduit la teneur en phosphate de l'eau à moins de 0,035 mg/l, facteur critique de la croissance excessive des algues.
SeDoX facilite également la décomposition des boues dans les lacs et les étangs. Étant donné que la croissance excessive des algues accélère le processus de formation des boues, la réduction des nutriments contenus dans les algues empêche également la formation rapide de boues.

I have an OxiAir Shallow 900 pump with 5 diffuser plates and I love it. It's almost silent, it fizzes oxygen into my lake in a subtle but visible way and Heathland have been super helpful every time I have had a question. I can't recommend them enough and I know the pump will transform my lake, especially in the hot summer months (I am in Charente in France).
