The Heathland SolarAir solar-powered diffused fishery aerator is the result of many years of research and development, providing the end-user with an off-grid solar aeration solution. This makes the solar-powered fishery aerator ideal for all those remote locations where a power supply is not available. These aerators are available with many additional options including online monitoring and management.
The basic system is designed to run anything from a single diffuser up to a total of 8 diffusers with air volumes over 10,000 litres per hour.
Air is pumped through the diffuser membranes on the bed of the waterbody breaking through the thermocline, reducing the effects of thermal stratification while also increasing the fishery’s dissolved oxygen (DO) levels.
**All charging and battery storage calculations are based on winter sunlight hours.
**Snow/fog and adverse weather will have detrimental effects on system charging. During these times the pumps may stop until charging commences on the next solar active day. All batteries are low voltage protected.
**Bespoke Heathland SolarAir deep-water system is also available and the pumps and data provided are based on requirements. The maximum operating depth with a deep-water system is 10 metres.
