Water jet cutters are capable of cutting through most materials. Our services specialise in the cutting of many of these materials up to a maximum thickness of 150 mm.
Our services include a full design and cut service. We are also happy to use your .DXF files to provide a cut only service.
There are many advantages to using water jet cutting technology, including the cold cutting process utilised with this technique which results in no heat stress in the cut materials. Heat stress can often cause weakness in the final product. Other advantages include zero noxious gas release during the cutting process and a clean cut every time resulting in no finishing / cleaning requirements to the final cut product. This all makes the water jet cutting process ideal for use in the Automotive, Marine, Aerospace and just about all other sectors.
We don’t have a minimum order size and are happy to help anything from prototyping or one-off requirements to multiple orders. Our goal is always to provide a 48-hour turn-around from point of order unless the cutting required is very complex or requires additional works such as planning and design. It maybe that you require regular orders of the same products. These can be stored on our system and run to your chosen timescale, so you always have those vital parts when they are required.
CNC is an acronym for Computer Numerical Control. Our water jet cutter is controlled by that computer to cut out intricate designs from any material including metals and stone.
The machine utilises pressurising pumps driving high-pressure jets of water to the precise cutting head which then releases a supersonic stream of water capable of cutting through any material up to a maximum thickness of 150 mm.
Water takes centre stage in this fabrication process as it minimises the chances of heat and/or chemical damage despite the power of the jets. This, combined with the accuracy of the cutting head and the reliability of the CNC is what makes water jet cutting one of the most sought-after manufacturing techniques.
Capable of cutting just about any material including laminates and composites making the water jet cutting process suitable for most industry sectors
Ultra-high cutting tolerance and variable cut quality capabilities resulting in little or no finishing requirement
No requirement for chemicals or heat during the cutting process unlike laser, oxy-fuel or plasma cutting processes results in zero structural damage, warping or distortion.
Our Design and Nesting services ensure low material wastage
