Save £1000’s over a ten-year period with a solar-powered lake aerator!
Our research team at Heathland Group have recently calculated and graphed the average solar lake aerator cost savings over a ten-year period when compared to the most popular methods of aeration.
All of the costs shown above are based on the rate of £0.45 per kW and a lake or pond size of 1 Acre.
As you can see from the graph above, although the initial cost of a solar system is more than most traditional systems, the saving over a 10-year period, with proper maintenance, is astronomical!
Sometimes the lack of power available means a specialist aeration system is required and with the rising energy costs, there is no better option than a solar-powered subsurface aeration system to help keep monthly energy costs down.
Plagued by unsightly algae causing pea-green water and unwanted smells, the Longleat Forest's lake site was in desperate need of oxygenated water, and we had the right water aeration system to deliver just that. Our in-house manufactured OxiAir HD® diffused...

Heathland Fountains and Aerators were contacted by a domestic client in Essex for a quote in May 2019. The client has a lake on his property where he required a floating lake fountain for aeration. Fountain lighting to create a stunning evening garden display also formed part of the client brief.
Here at Heathland Group, we offer two types of lake aeration, diffused aeration, and floating aeration to help you efficiently aerate your lake. A diffused aerator pumps air through the diffuser membranes, which then travels to the surface in the form of millions of tiny bubbles...
