J A Jones & Sons is a tree and shrub nursery in Southport, Merseyside. J A Jones & Sons contacted our team with a requirement to increase the dissolved oxygen levels within their irrigation reservoir. They had an AquaAir Ultra diffused aerator installed this had to be specified and positioned for their specific reservoir to ensure efficiant aeration.
AquaAir Ultra diffused aerator systems provide industrial-strength aeration, circulation and de-stratification. Using bed-installed diffusers, dissolved oxygen (DO) levels increase throughout the entire water column in the lake. The diffusers employ a tremendous amount of fine micro-bubble technology.

The AquaAir Ultra 2 diffused aeration system was installed in the nursery reservoir used for irrigation, the complete system was designed and placed for maximum aeration efficiency. On average at 1.0 Bar this system will produce an airflow of 7.2 M3/h.
When aerating an irrigation reservoir there are many factors that need to be taken into consideration to ensure it is aerated correctly, these include, depth, the overall shape of the lagoon, and the oxygen transfer rate of the chosen aeration system.
Our design team will consider all of these factors on all of our projects to ensure an efficient and reliable aeration system is supplied for every individual application.
Our service department offers maintenance service and repairs across the entire aeration range. All of our systems are serviceable and are built to last when following the correct maintenance schedule for the selected system.
