The key to any aeration system or lake oxygenator used in lakes is reliability when it’s most required. The AquaAir Diffused Lake Aerator provides just this. Design, build and component quality is of utmost importance for providing an aeration system that you can rely on. De-stratification is the very best method to help maintain a healthy lake from the very deepest areas to the surface. Total water circulation throughout the water columns can be achieved using good quality diffused aeration systems.

You get a safer aerator with an AquaAir diffused lake aerator

Using diffused aeration also means increased safety with no electrical components in the lake, lower power consumption compared to surface aerators and no risk to legionella becoming airborne in water spray as seen with water fountains or surface operating aerators.

Another benefit is the total flexibility of these aeration systems, due to the nature of running and piping a compressor, one system is capable of running many closely sited smaller lakes at once rather than having several aerators running on each lake.

Aeration with circulation and destratification

AquaAir provides lakes with high-end aeration, circulation and de-stratification. Using bed installed diffusers, dissolved oxygen (DO) levels increase throughout the entire water column in the lake. The diffusers employ a tremendous amount of fine micro-bubble technology leading to the highest diffuser oxygen transfer rate (OTR) available today. The micro-bubbles bring water from the reservoir bed to the surface where atmospheric oxygen is absorbed and is then transferred throughout the water column. This process creates a circulating flow and provides a fantastic deterrent to thermal stratification (thermal stratification causes different temperature layers within the water).

The diffusers are linked by self-weighted super sink air tubing to an innovative stainless steel enclosure containing one or two compressors (among four sizes of compressors). (1/3 – 1HP) ranged system sizes; operate with (1 – 6) diffusers.
