Heathland Group supplies a large range of standard fountain patterns and aerator systems. But, we also design and build bespoke fountains and bespoke aerators. So, if you’re looking for a custom-built water feature or a bespoke aerator system and have a special or unique requirement, we can help. As a result, we can design a fountain or aeration system that achieves our clients’ ideal fountain or aerator system.
Our current water fountain range is very extensive and varied, covering most requirements. However, from time to time we need to provide something exceptional that literally reaches new heights. With this service, we are able to provide water fountains that are able to achieve heights of 60 metres and total display widths and diameters of 60 metres or more. Most importantly, all of our bespoke systems follow the development processes outlined below;
We can supply a special-build water fountain for any requirement, size or bespoke design and work from a basic idea to create your dream. They can also be designed to suit any depth of the lake, pond or water feature and adapted to float or be fixed to a hard base. As with any of the fountain units supplied within the UK or Europe, any fountain over 2 horsepower will require a three-phase power supply. Therefore power requirements will be assessed early on as the customer’s supply may be limited. This can restrict the design and final water fountain build.
With all custom water fountains, we also take into consideration the fountain display type and whether it’s static or dynamic? A dynamic water fountain display brings together both movement of water, light and in some cases music. We have the programming ability in-house to create some outstanding water displays, which will dance to sound as a result, again these are available in a static or floating fountain version.
All our aerators are available in multiple sizes and variations but from time to time we may need to work within a sensitive environment or on a project with a high profile customer with specific needs. It may be that disturbance to wildlife or disruption to sediments must be taken into account? We may need to look at certain elements of the aeration system to cater to these requirements so that all the goals can be achieved.
An example of our special aeration systems would be the weed and debris air curtains. These aeration systems allow boats to freely pass over but cause a surface disturbance capable of holding back miles of Duckweed. As a result these are a big benefit to marinas and canal systems, where specific weeds can choke an area during the warmer months of the year.
Again, as with our custom aeration systems, we follow a similar procedure to the design of bespoke aeration systems;
